What do i need to bring to swim lessons?

Your child, a towel, swim costume and goggles if you have them. We supply swim aids if needed and any other equipment.

What should we do when we arrive?

The first thing you must do is take your shoes off or put on blue shoe covers before entering the changing rooms or poolside (this applies to your children as well), the shoe covers are located in a box on the right hand side when you enter the building. You will also find a stack of plastic boxes on the right for you to take to put your bag and dry clothes. You can then go into the changing rooms to get your child changed. Once your child is changed you can go round to poolside and take a seat to wait till your child’s lesson starts.

How do i book onto the swim spaces, or view spaces available?

Go to https://fineswim.co.uk/ click on the light blue oval button that says book a swim class, this will then take you to the fineswim booking portal where you can enter yours and your child’s details, and search for spaces.

If you have another child you wish to put on you can click the green ‘add student’ button to do so, once you have completed adding your children click the rectangular blue ‘next’ button.

This will take you a page that allows you to search for available classes, in order to find the slot follow the steps bellow:

Standard:

If your child is under 4 you will pick a class according to their age, if they are over 4 and a beginner it will be a level 1, if they are an improver then you can pick a level between 2 and 9 (don’t worry if it is wrong we can always move them into a more suitable class).

Venue:

Leave the venue as is.

Date range:

Select the upcoming month from the month you are presently in. If you don’t have the option to select the month then there are no classes available.

Days:

The days that are shown are the days that we have spaces, it won’t show you days we don’t have classes available.

Then click the light blue rectangular ‘find classes’ button, this will then show you the classes that are available, you have to select the small square check box to the upper left of the class you want, only then can you select the blue rectangular ‘add class’ button to apply for that class.

Then click the blue ‘next’ button which will take you to a summary page where you can check all your details are correct. Once you have completed that page click the ‘submit’ button.

This will then come through to us for approval, and assuming everything is ok we will approve this and send you out a class enrolment email.
